Had a very good night's sleep on the precipice and woke to brilliant morning sunshine. I lept out of bed to catch the morning sun on the monastery buildings, didn't leap quite quick enough, but got some better photos before the tourists arrived.
We both went back and did the museum and the audio visual experience. Had a muffin and doughnut and two cappuccinos in the monastery bar!
Finally we went to listenen to the Escoliar Boys choir singing in the basilica, which was very nice. I take back what I said about peace and quiet in the basilica. It was heaving with about 1000 tourists brandishing 1000 ipads, iPhones and selfie sticks.
Bought a few souveniry bits from the huge shop before we left. It was 2:40pm after paying the car parking, not nearly as cheap as expected, as we set off to the municipal site at Taragoza for the night. It was 167 miles so used the AP2 peage for most of it, only €13, to save time. Arrived in Taragoza at 8:00 after 3 stops on route. It's still warm and sunny and so is the forecast.
