Packed the brollies and we walked the 10 mins down the lane to catch the bus into Hampton Court where we met Katie to visit the flower show. We had an afternoon ticket, which was enough for us to see the show.It was huge and would have needed two days to really do it justice. Bought a stone cat and a ladybird poppy plant to commemorate the visit. We were sitting in a coffee shop waiting to order a coffee, or two, and happened to notice that the last bus back to our site was in 20 minutes. We made the bus in time - just as it started to rain. It was really pouring by the time we reached the lane, but we were 'saved' by a fellow camper who gave us lift back down the lane.
The rain was torrential for about 3 hours during the night.
