Our first month away - In Scotland
After a few short breaks to get to know our new acquisition, it was off to Western Scotland to see if we could really take to Motorhoming. I had another mission - to go to the Mull of Kintyre. Not because I am a Paul McCartney or Wings fan, but because I spent a good part of Christmas 1977 programming a microcomputer evaluation board to play the tune on its tiny speaker. I had just taken a new job at Texas Instruments and did it to learn more about programming the 9900 family of devices.
