We are Peter and Rosemary Roe and we have a Nu Venture Moniche motor home that we use to roam around Europe in the spring and early summer (before it gets too hot over there). Then we potter around the UK doing a bit of fishing when we get decent weather. Before the Moniche we had a Surf, affectionately know as 'The Twurp' because of its registration number and so we were the Twurps. It took us as far as Gibraltar and Slovenia (thats us at the castle on Lake Bled) over the 5 years we were the proud owners.We are retired and tour a lot, rarely spending more than 2 or 3 nights in any location, shopping locally and eating outside BBQ style whenever we can. We enjoy quiet out-of-the-way locations and avoid the usual touristy hot spots. Northern Spain and Portugal are our favourite destinations so far. Fantastic scenery, friendly locals, cheaper and cooler than the overcrowded south. Why would you want a 'genuine cornish pasty' in the Algarve - not for us, well not yet!
